The Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication (IETE) was formed in 1953. It is a professional society devoted for the advancement for Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer and Information Technology. The IETE is recognized by govt. of India as an educational institution of national eminence. IETE has also been recognized by ministry of science and technology, Dept. of scientific and industrial research as a scientific and industrial research organization. The course contents and syllabus is as decided by IETE, New Delhi.

The courses conducted by the IETE has approved by Govt. of India and various state Govt./Universities.
